The behavioral health team at the NATIVE Project comprises mental health counselors and social workers with master’s degrees and many years of experience. All are certified substance use disorder professionals (SUDP) with the Washington State Department of Health and participate in ongoing training sessions to keep up with the most recent evidence-based and promising practices in the field.
Our team assesses, treats, and counsels the youth and creates individualized mental health and substance use treatment plans for all children who need our services. We believe in wraparound care as it fits in our mission. We involve family members and support people who understand the family’s life, history, culture, and relationships. Furthermore, we work collaboratively with area schools and agencies to expand wraparound care. At the NATIVE Project we also rely on integrated care between primary health care and behavioral health care to provide the best care to our patients.
If you provide proof of tribal enrollment or descendancy, then we will not bill your insurance co-pay.
